I am 50 years old and from Australia.

I have been involved in and around sport, fitness and sports medicine for many years in various roles.

By trade I am an electrician but have always had an interest in sport/fitness.

It wasnt until a few years ago that I  suffered a traumatic event and my mental and physical health declined and gain a lot of weight.

After making the decision to regain my physical and mental health clarity it was suggested to do my cert IV and become a PT

After regaining my mental and physical fitness I obtained my cert IV in Personal Training along with being a running coach.

Once I obtained my PT quals I noticed too many trainers working outside of their scope of practice and giving misguided information to clients, I didnt want to be one of these trainers so that is why I obtained my SNS certification to give my clients the most upto date and accurate information that I can and to help them acheive their own goals with confidence.

An avid long distance runner doing this course will also benefit my own and my running clients ability to achieve greater results on the road and trails.

Through my own experiences with mental health I hope to help as many people as I can see the massive benefits of exercise and proper nutrition for mental health recovery.
